I want to thank you for taking the time to provide a tour of your
facility. My goal today was to show a managed working forest in
Maine and some of the different products produced from harvest
timber. Your showroom and manufacturing facility exceeded my
expectations. I never get tired of looking at Birdseye and
curly maple. I had never heard of or seen birdseye oak before. I am
very curios what your plans are for that saw log. It was a pleasure
to see furniture manufacturing facilities made with pride here in
the state of Maine. So many of our furniture manufacturing
facilities have moved over seas in an effort to cut costs and have
cut quality as a result. Your furniture is impressive and truly
heirloom quality. Again thank you very much for taking the time out
of your schedule.

Must tell you how we appreciate

Dear Dave,
Thank you for speaking at our non-timber forest products (NTFP)
workshop. The Forest Working Group appreciated you taking a Saturday
to help us educate people about specialty wood products. Several of
the participants said that they enjoyed your talk and learned a lot
about looking at their trees and woodland differently when it comes
to
opportunities to utilize what they have growing around them.
